Three Little League World Series Begin Sunday Three Little League World Series Begin Sunday By Communications Division 2012 Senior League Baseball World Series Results/Statistics Three more Little League World Series begin Sunday. The Junior League Softball World Series in Kirkland, Washington, the Junior League Baseball World Series in Taylor, Mich., and the Senior League Baseball World Series in Bangor, Maine, all get underway with games on Sunday. Junior League Softball World Series The nine-team field from around the world is split into two pools, with both pools a mixture of U.S. and International teams. The top two teams in each pool advance to the semifinals on Aug. 17. Teams in the Junior League Softball World Series field include: Pool A Honaker LL/Honaker, Va. (Southeast Region champion) Escanaba LL/Escanaba, Mich. (Central Region champion) Layritz LL/Victoria, British Columbia (Canada Region champion) Kirkland American-National LL/Kirkland, Wash. (Host) Pool B West Haven LL/West Haven, Conn.
