Find a course The PGA Tour is in Oahu for the Sony Open this week for its second event of the 2011 season. Last week, if you stayed up late enough to watch, you were blown away by the beauty of Kapalua’s Plantation Course during the Tournament of Champions. To those who know golf in Hawaii, our, ‘A Quick Nine,’ feature this week is centered around the question: What’s your favorite course to play in our 50th state? Here’s what you had to say: 1. Kauai Lagoons Golf Club, Lihue . A Golf Magazine “Gold Medal Golf Resort” winner, Kauai Lagoons is like a Field of Dreams for golfers, featuring 18 Jack Nicklaus Signature holes. With three courses of varying difficulty to choose from — the Gold, the Emerald and the Blue — Wailea provides spectacular views and a challenge for golfers of every level.
